The 100 Projects Manifesto: Build. Create. Thrive and be free.

An ambitious journey to innovate, create, and inspire building up to 100 projects in search of profitable and scalable ones.

The 100 Projects Challenge is an ambitious initiative designed to push the boundaries of creativity, innovation, and resilience. The goal? To build up to 100 projects—ranging from software to content—while maintaining a sustainable pace and avoiding burnout. The challenge isn't just about quantity; it's about discovering those 5-10 gems that have the potential to become profitable and scalable businesses.

This initiative is grounded in the belief that the journey of creation is as important as the destination. Each project is an opportunity to learn, grow, and refine your craft. It's about embracing the process, from the initial spark of an idea to its launch, and even its eventual failure or success. The key is to stay committed, enjoy the ride, and focus on solving real problems with meaningful solutions.

The 100 Projects Challenge is also a commitment to transparency and community. It's about building in public—sharing the highs and lows, the wins and the setbacks. By documenting and sharing the journey, this initiative aims to inspire other creators, providing them with insights, strategies, and a realistic view of what it takes to build something impactful.

At its core, the 100 Projects Challenge is more than just a personal goal; it's a movement. It's about proving that with the right mindset and approach, it's possible to create a portfolio of successful products without sacrificing your well-being. It's an invitation to other builders to join in, share their stories, and contribute to a collective journey of innovation and growth.

The Manifesto

The journey is everything.

The true magic of creating lies in the journey itself. Every project is a chance to learn, grow, and discover. It's not just about reaching the destination but about what you uncover and create along the way.

Failure is part of the adventure.

Don't be afraid of failure—it's an essential part of the adventure. Every stumble teaches you something valuable and brings you closer to your goals. Success is built on persistence and the lessons learned from each misstep.

Never compromise on quality.

Quality matters, always. No matter how many projects you start, each one deserves your best effort. An MVP doesn't have to be perfect, but it should reflect your commitment to excellence. Even the simplest ideas can shine when done right.

Create with heart.

It's not just about making things; it's about making things that matter. Every project should have a purpose—solving real problems and making a positive difference. Technology is just a tool; your purpose is what gives it life.

Enjoy the process.

The best work happens when you're having fun. The passion you pour into your projects is what makes them special. If you're not enjoying what you do, it's time to rethink your approach.

Find your balance.

You don't have to sacrifice everything to succeed. It's entirely possible to build a profitable and scalable portfolio without burning out. Keep a steady pace, and success will follow naturally.

Share your journey.

Building in public is more than just showing your work; it's about sharing your knowledge. Be open, be transparent, and let others learn from your experiences. Your story might just inspire someone else to start their own journey.

Believe in your ideas.

Your work has value, and so do your ideas. Don't let fear or doubt keep you from contributing to the world. What you create can make a real difference in people's lives, and that's something worth believing in.

Impact is the true measure of success.

Money is nice, but it's not the only thing that matters. True success lies in the impact your projects have on others. Focus on creating value, and the rewards will come.

Community makes us stronger.

You're not in this alone. Collaborate, share, and learn from others. Innovation thrives in a community that supports each other. Together, we can achieve more than we ever could alone.

Savor the journey.

The road may be long, but every step is worth it. Enjoy each project, each idea, and every small victory. If you're not having fun, you're missing out on the best part.

Join the 100 Projects Mission.

It's time to build, innovate, and leave your mark. If you share this vision, if you believe in the power of creativity, I invite you to join. It's not just about launching products; it's about building the future. Let's make something amazing happen.

Who am I?

I'm Roberto, a developer, designer, and writer who's been immersed in the crypto space since 2014. For the past 14 years, I've been building digital products from scratch to scale, always driven by the desire to solve real problems and make a meaningful impact.

Currently, I'm a Product Engineer at Tutellus, where I also teach tokenization, DeFi, and Web3 in the master's programs. I mentor and guide projects launched by Tutellus Ventures, helping them navigate the challenges of product development and strategy. By night, I'm on a mission to build 100 side projects in search of profitable and scalable digital solutions.

My journey has taken me through diverse challenges—from developing Bitcoin (Lightning) and Ethereum-based financial services at Turinlabs to scaling anfix, the leading cloud-based ERP for SMEs in Spain & LATAM. I connected Bitcoin to over 10,000 traditional ATMs at Bit2Me and even started and exited a company during my last year of college.

Since 2015, I've been teaching the business value of blockchain to leaders at PwC, Iberdrola, Deloitte, BBVA, and Santander, initially through my Blockchain Toolkit online course. I co-authored "Blockchain: La revolución industrial de internet," now in its 8th edition, in 2017.

Between 2018 and 2020, I led the blockchain practice at UST Global, collaborating with giants like General Electric, Clifford Chance, Endesa, Instituto de Empresa (IE), Santander, and Tesla, among other Fortune 500 companies. I also created the NFT collection decentralists.xyz.

I'm passionate about sharing what works and what doesn't as I explore this journey of 100 projects. Want to join the challenge? Tell me why and share your ideas for building on Twitter/X—I'd love to hear from you and help out. Thanks, and let's go for it!
